“We are always wanting to give back to the community every chance we get.” Stated Mike Warren. Brittain’s Car wash has given over $30,000 to charities in the local community since Mike and Laurel Warren bought the wash in 2018.
From $5 per car to Food For Greater Elgin during the Halloween Tunnel of Terror event, to golf hole sponsorships and Extravaganza advertisements, Brittain’s Car Wash truly cares to give back to the community.
We have recovered from our 4 nights of Brittain’s Tunnel of Terror Haunted car wash. We are so very excited to announce, that 750 car loads of people throughly enjoyed the haunted car wash during the 4-night event. $5 of each entry was committed to Food For Greater Elgin, therefore, Brittain’s Car Wash and owners Mike and Laurel Warren, are proud to announce a donation of $3,750.00! Food For Greater Elgin(FFGE) is able to multiply each dollar raised into $8 worth of food. So, Brittain’s Tunnel of Terror partnering with FFGE has generated $30,000 in food for our hungry neighbors.
We would truly like to thank the local community for coming out and enjoying this first-time event at Brittain’s. It was really fun to see all of you and scare the yell out of you. We would like to thank John Brittain of Brittain’s Express Oil for having his employees work the event, Pat Crawford at Elgin Medi Transport for the use of the ambulance, and Briana’s Pancake House for letting us use their parking lot every evening. Plus the Bear Family McDonalds for the goodie bag certificates. An extra great big thank you to the volunteers that gave up their evenings to be out in the cold with us, and the Brittain’s Car Wash employees for standing IN the cold tunnel getting wet for 4 nights in a row. This fun event was truly living our mission of Caring for your Car while Caring for our Community!
Everyone had so much fun at Brittain’s Tunnel of Terror while truly doing something good for the community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you everyone!!
